Pippa Squeek ~ Malshi 2-2020
HI everyone I'm Pippa Squeek and I have the best-est family and big sister Zoe. My mom and dad can't believe all the cuteness, spunk and personality I have. They found me on Paula's website and all it took was one meeting for all of us to know we were meant to be family! I picked them and they picked me.... And we are all living happily ever after, ️
The mom Lori here... We had a great experience working with Paula. The puppies are family!/home raised and are ready to assimilate into their new homes readily. Easy process. Guaranteed health and I cannot say enough about their little personalities. LOVER pup I call our Squeek. I highly recommend Perfect Little Pups! Hmm......do I maybe need 3? Lori J. Phoenix, AZ. Today's pic are from a home trim... Call it a virus cut Pippa is doing just great... She and Zoe are inseparable...... |
Atlas - Malshi 12-2019
I've been told many times that your dog would pick its owner and there was no doubt that we were to be his pawrents. We fell in love with Atlas (formerly named Teddy) the first time we met him. He has brought so much joy and love in our lives. At first we were hesitant in finding the right fur baby to join our lives because we were scammed by another breeder about a month prior to finding Paula. She was able to address all of our concerns and provide all the reassurance we needed to move forward. Paula provided all of his papers, proof of shots, some dog food and an adoption gift making his transition seamless and effortless. Atlas has a sweet disposition and is always willing to learn new tricks. He is only 4 months old and has already accomplished the basic commands along with some fancy ones such as say a prayer, jumping through a hoop, shake, give me a ten and ring the bell when he wants to go potty. We are very happy to be his furpapa and furmama! Thank you Paula for helping us find the perfect furbaby for us!

Marice - Malshi's 9-2019
Happy New Year Paula!Today Macie is 6.5 months and tomorrow she is being spayed. All up to date on shots. She has lost a bit of her color but is very cute and well marked, and very smart. We are using an excellent mobile groomer and we had 3 in-home sessions with a trainer. Macie will sit, stay, come, go down and do high fives. Making progress with potty training, but we still use a couple pee pads in the house. She has held her bladder overnight for a couple of months now. Still a bit pickey at eating, but she likes some quality variety and some toppers. Now weighs 5.5 lbs.
We hope you and your family have a good new year.

2 boys DJ/Rocky and 1 female Camrie - Malshi's 11-2018 to 2019
I found Paula’s website on Craig’s list. Contacted her and had a very professional yet endearing experience in meeting and purchasing an 8 week old Malshi puppy that we adore! Paula instilled confidence in me as a new puppy owner with extensive and passionate education about how to care for the puppy. Paula takes great pride in her breeding lines as well as making sure the puppy and buyer are a good fit. She has 25 years of experience. And already 2 of my friends have bought puppies from her, with more asking for her info!! The first two are my girl and boy I bought a year apart and the little black and white boy is the one my friend bought. All the pups are best friends and have play dates all the time. Christina

Bear - Malshi's 11-2018
"Perfect Little Puppies" is the PERFECT name for Paula's pups! We got our new little fur-baby right after Thanksgiving (2018) & he's just absolute perfection! Paula was so kind, so knowledgeable about everything Malshi & beyond! Not only did they accommodate our schedule, (my daughter wanted the puppy within HOURS... they sent us home with everything we needed for the 1st week+. He settled right into our family, like it was right where he belonged. His kind demeanor & how sociable he continues to be, is a testament to his first few months with Paula & her friends who she breeds with. Bentlee's a PERFECT dog! Our very first night, my son was having friends sleep over, so I knew it wasn't the night to start crate training, so he got to sleep with me. About 20 minutes into bedtime, I felt his sweet little face creep on to my shoulder & then he slowly creeped on to my chest. He slept there ALL NIGHT! (with a few potty breaks) I literally cried! The first time at the Vet, they commented on what a great puppy we got, then after his first grooming appointment, more of the same... perfect! We're SO happy with our baby, Bentlee. I can't wait to get another!! If you're looking for the best little companion, look no further! Call Paula!

Jax ~ Maltese/ShihTzu December 2015
After being born in early November, we were able to take our sweet Jax home at the end of December. From the moment we picked him, we knew it was love at first sight. He has been such a blessing in our home and made our family complete again.
After a tragic loss, we took a year to decide if we were ready and even wanted to take on another furbaby. Making the decision to do so, has been the best decision we have ever made. Jax has been such a light in our lives. The Maltese/ShihTzu blend is absolutely amazing. He has just the right amount of playfulness as well as calm snuggles. His fur is the softest and most beautiful I have ever seen and his temperament is absolutely amazing. Working with Paula and Sylvia was so easy and I felt that they really care about the dogs they breed. I wouldn't hesitate to ever get another dog from them. Thank you so much for bringing our baby into the world and subsequently uniting us as a family. The Thompson Family |
Sophie ~ Maltese/ShihTzu 11-22-15
We got our little Sophie on 11/22/15 and from the moment we saw her we knew she was raised in a warm, loving, and caring home! It was love at first sight, she was so happy and loving, and bonded with us right away. Paula was very professional and we felt that we are getting our baby from a reliable safe place. Even after we took Sophie she answered our many phone calls with asking her million questions lol.. She is patient and she really cares about her precious puppies and clients. We highly recommend getting your next puppy with Paula, you will not regret it!
Thank you, Perach Ben |
Riley ~ Maltese/ShihTzu 03-2015
Hi Paula,
We took Riley home in March and could not have made a better choice! Not only has he been a joy, working with Paula through the process was amazing as well. Always helpful and responsive with any new puppy questions. I just love the feeling of knowing he came from a loving place and its evident in his demeanor. I have two girls ages 7 and 11 and he is so amazing with them. Riley was even a pleasure to train, he’s a quick learner! I am so happy with my decision and so in love with Riley. He has become a huge part of our family and its as if he’s been with us all along! Thanks so much Paula! Cheryl Nasta |
Maltese ~ Roxy 03-2015
Good morning Paula, it's Susie who got Sweet Pea a.k.a Roxy. Just have to say, she is an awesome puppy! She is sleeping through the night, super friendly, happy, playful...we all love her so much! She is doing so great!
Update 2017 Hi Paula, we got our little Roxy from you 2 years ago and she is absolutely the best dog ever! She has brought so much love and happiness to our lives. Just wanted to share. 🤗 |
Sugar - ShihTzu 02-2015
Paula,
We can't tell you what joy our little Sugar has brought us. My two daughters had been after me for two years to get a dog and I finally said yes. You were referred to me by someone at work so I decided to take the girls to see your puppies. Sugar (Jewel was what you had named her) was only 6 weeks old but we knew she was the one for our family. When we came back to get her and take her home several weeks later, she ran to us with kisses and has been running to us ever since. Thank you for your kindness, your knowledge and your love for breeding. She is such a joy and we love her very much! Jan and family |
Romeo - Maltese/ShihTzu 09-2014
Hi Paula, My name is Grace, I believe I got my Walli from you about 6 years ago (originally I was going to name him Elway after John Elway, think you had a dog named after an NFL player or some sports star)… since then I am married now and my husband really wants us to find him a buddy. We love him so much.I wanted to keep in touch but somehow all my email photos I had tried to send years ago never went through. I am hoping you are the same breeder. I attached a photo of him for you to see. He is a tricolor Shih-tzu and doesn’t bark which we know is rare. I am open to another Shih-tzu or a mix. Please let me know when your next batch is available, girl or boy. Thank you!
Yay!! I am so excited its you!! I am so sorry to hear about Payten, I remember him. Yes we would love to see the pups…I would love any that came from the same line as Walli. He is the best! He volunteers sometimes as a therapy dog. He has been the most chill, laid back dog since he was a puppy. Even when he went to puppy training classes, the trainer asked if if I had given something to sedate him or mellow him out, haha! Everyone who meets him just loves him. He has never barked. We know it will be hard to find the same temperament and none barking as him, but if we can come close that would be great!! I had asked a vet when he was younger if I should be concerned that he doesn’t bark, the vet said be gratefull :) What time is a good time and day? Please send address again. I really appreciate your help! I can never thank you enough for bringing Walli in to my life. Thanks again! - Grace Purchased a Maltese/ShihTzu ~ Romeo We have to say the name is growing on us:) haha! We are so excited! Thanks again! - grace After Romeo Went home ~ It took about 4 days, then they became BFFS. They love each other! Everyone is so happy! They have each other now so they are never alone:) Both are spoiled and sleep in our bed. Romeo already knows how to use the dog door and does not have any accidents in the bed. His vet appt. is Monday next week;) I will send more pics ;) Romeo acts like the annoying little brother at times and walli let's him know. But then they will lie next to eachother. It will take some adjusting for Walli. But Romeo is a fast learner we love him!! |
Maggie Mae - ShihTzu 07-2014 |
Hello Paula,
Not sure if you can remember all the people who come through and purchase puppies from you but, I purchased a puppy, a shih Tzu born 4-29-2014. She is a black with a little white, mostly on her legs. I can’t remember what you had her named but I (and my husband) named her Maggie Mae. I have wanted to write to you SO MANY MANY TIMES, before to tell you how much I love her!! She stole my heart and we are inseparable. She deficiently rules the house though. I love her personality…as she is very headstrong!! She stalks my other dog at certain times and it is so funny to watch because you would not think she would be paying attention and then she flies from across the room and pounces on her. She is indeed spoiled as well. She sleeps with me at night as I tend to get warm and keep a fan blowing nearby, and Maggie likes the fan blowing on her at night too. She goes to her groomer every month to get a bath and every other she gets her teddy-bear cut. Her coat is still as soft and silky as it was when I brought her home. I have had a heck of a time with the potty training… I know she knows better but she still tests me at times. She has been known to come right up to when I am sitting and just squat and pee!! I am always amazed. I think it’s because she’s wanting my attention. She does not like the grass after the sprinklers have been on. She can be a little “fuss-budget” at times… She has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and she had to have her puppy-canine teeth removed to make room for her adult canines. She weighs in about 10 ¾ lbs. I think she could probably stand to lose about 1 pound… but we love her to pieces and would do anything to secure her safety and health. I’m sorry I had not gotten to you much earlier than this, but my health leaves me down quite often. I did want you to know how much I love her and she is very much spoiled. Attached is a photo of myself with Maggie taken in February. My Best Always, Deborah Wiley…and Maggie Mae |
Josie Malshi and Zoe Maltese 2013-2014
We purchased a Maltese and a Malshi from Paula... we bought the Malshi (Josie) back in March 2013 and we bought the Maltese (Zoe) in March 2014.
Best decision we ever have made they have brought so much love and joy to our lives I just can't explain it all in this testimonial. They were best friends from the get-go they love each other so much and play together all the time. They were obviously different litters but both from the same mother. We could not imagine our lives without them and we just want to thank you Paula so much for introducing them into our lives Woody and Terry. |

Sadie Maltese - 11/20/13
Update:
Hi Paula, Just thought we would share some of Sadie's pics from our backyard last week. She is just so sweet & we love her to pieces. What a great little personality she has. She now weighs 4lbs. Sadie is a very happy puppy & so are we. So glad we found you & Sadie too! Take care & stay in touch. Best regards.....Paula & Art Schenkman. Sadie is doing great. She is growing perfectly. Everyone thinks she is so adorable, and so do we. Sadie says to say hello to Sophie. She is just the center of our lives now. She is eating, drinking, pooping, and peeing regularly. She seems to have no adjustment issues. We love her so very, very much. Thanks for making her a part of our lives. Thanks again for this wonderful addition to our family. Art |

Timbit and Muchkin 09/2012 - Maltese/ShihTzu Mixes
We purchased our babies, Timbit and Munchkin from Paula is September of 2012. My daughter had been pestering me for a puppy for years and the timing never seemed to be right. We were in Canada for the summer and I decided that I would go ahead and buy her a puppy.
When I make up my mind to do something I want to do it right now. So from Canada I started searching the internet for breeders etc. I emailed several people and a lot of them did not respond. I spoke to a number of breeders, but wasn’t feeling comfortable enough to give a deposit without first seeing the puppy and the environment in which they were raised. Then I came across Paula’s website. I emailed her and within minutes I received a response. I was nervous as this was our first pet and I knew nothing. Paula answered all of my questions and didn’t make me feel stupid for asking even trivial questions. She emailed me a picture of all the puppies that were available. They were a week old at the time. I felt very comfortable with Paula and did not hesitate to send her a deposit without seeing the puppy or meeting her face to face. She let us name him right away and she would send us weekly updated photos. Timbit wasn’t going to be ready to come home until September but she told me to come over and see him when we returned to Arizona in a months time. We went for the visit and as soon as I walked in the door I knew that I made the right decision. Paula is a gem and Timbit was absolutely perfect. We went to visit him a couple of times after that. Paula was always very accommodating and welcomed us to her home as a friend. The week before we were to pick him up I decided that he was just too cute and maybe we should get another one. I called Paula and once again she emailed me the photos of the puppies that were available. I picked one and she called to tell me that the one I chose was very tiny and because Timbit was a bit of a brute Munchkin would be a better fit as they tended to play together already and he could hold his own with Timbit. I trusted her opinion and we went with Munchkin. We couldn’t be happier. They are our babies and we are enjoying them so much. They are healthy and everywhere I go people stop and comment on how cute they are. I would highly recommend Paula if you are in the market for a puppy. She loves her dogs and goes the extra mile to find them good homes. She has been a constant resource and I feel comfortable in calling her at anytime with any questions. We are so happy we found her! Timbit and Munchkin have added so much to our family! Michele Chaudhry |
10/2012 - Brady - Maltese ShihTzu Mix
Brady is such a good boy--al most no accidents--mostly goes to the door to let us know he needs to go--sleeps all night in his kennel, thanks for suggesting he sleep in his tote the first two nights--not a cry out of him! He met the vet yesterday --got his shot didn't make a sound. Also had him microchipped. He slept all the way home and was ready to play as soon as we got home. His favorite toy is a stuffed cow which is as big as he is! He carries it around in his mouth and wrestles it on the floor. His favorite teething thing are my toes--I have to keep shoes on!! Oh he weighed 4.4lbs. Eating mostly dry food. Sees the vet again in 3 weeks. She wanted to keep him. As you can tell we really are enjoying him. Thanks for a great dog. Joan

Hello Paula,
This is Jennie Garcia, I just got off the phone with you. We purchased Kirby from you back in June 2011. I will attach a couple of pictures of him for you to see. We love him so much and are now looking to purchase a female shih tzu as well. Please notify me either through email or cell phone when you have a loving female available. Isn't Kirby just adorable?! Dearest Paula,
Thank you so very much for the blessing of our new baby girl, Lola. She has brought incredible joy to our family after the sad loss of our beloved 11 year old Labrador, Jade. You are truly remarkable as a breeder and as a person. Your home is absolutely gorgeous and so very clean. All of your Shih Tzu’s are perfectly maintained, healthy and beautiful! Lola is healthy, vibrant, gentle and loving with my small children. She is very patient too! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for our new bundle of joy! 01/2011 - Louie ShihTzu
Sent 12/08/2013
Dear Paula, I'm hoping you remember Ben and I who bought Louie from you and who is celebrating his 3rd birthday today. He sire was Bruno and his Dam was Fancy Face. He is the sweetest dog we have ever owned and lets all of our grandchildren dress him up, hold him for hours, dance with him, and walk him all up and down the beach. We are now living on Amelia Island in Florida and everyone we meet with Louie in stride wants to know where we ever found such a sweet and absolutely beautiful dog. He is still jet black and white and still a little one at 9 pounds. I'm attaching some pictures for you of Louie and our Lhasa, Hannah. We just wanted to tell you we talk about what a wonderful person and breeder you are. Hope you are still breeding these wonderful pups and that all is well with you and your family. Our best wishes for a wonderful Christmas Paula. Janet Pitts |
1/4/2011 - Jazzy/LuLu - Maltese/ShihTzu Mix
Hi Paula,
I just wanted you to know how happy I am with Lulu. She is a wonderful little puppy and is already feeling at home here.
She is going outside to do her business from the minute we got back to Tucson with her. I put my flannel pj pants in her
kennel and she made a couple of cries and then went right to sleep till 6:30 am. Cried and I took her out, she went right a way
and came in to give us kisses all over our faces. Yesterday she wore herself out following me every where and not napping. She
was afraid she would miss something. I did some paper work and she dragged her bed over to my chair, curled up in her bed and went to sleep. She loves all of her toys and if I take them out of her bed to play with her she takes them and puts them back in her bed and plays with them. Right now she has her chin resting on my lap top as I am trying to e-mail you.
Thanks again for keeping Lulu for me.

Hi Paula,
Hope you had a wonderful wedding, holiday and all that jazz! Just wanted to let you know Gizmo/Cupcake is doing awesome. My brother in-law veterinarian was in town and was very impressed with your puppy! He has been a veterinarian for 30+ years and owns a huge practice in Milwaukee. He said the puppy has a great disposition, very well socialized, nice boxy confirmation (he said from the Maltese) and is going to be the perfect lapdog for me. He commended me on finding this puppy on my own! Cupcake seriously looks like an ewok/stuffed animal. My entire family fell in love with him. I attached pictures. He is 3.8 pounds now and the love of my life (besides my fiancé…ha-ha)! Have a happy new year and keep breeding awesome puppies!! Stefanie |

11/28/2010 - Riley ShihTzu
Hi Paula,
It's Elizabeth here in Flagstaff. I hope all is well in the valley. We are loving Riley! He is so awesome. The kids still are so excited with him. I don't think the newness will ever wear off. Today was his first experience with snow. He was so cute he would burrow his face in and prance all through it. It seems like he loved it. I know Riley's shots are due in a couple days and I plan on getting him neutered at the same time. You have some adorable pups on your web site, I enjoy seeing them all. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Sincerely,
Elizabeth

Hi Paula!
Happy Thanksgiving! I don't know if you remember us... Jim, and Suzie Beach, and our daughter Macy. We bought the little black and white pup from you. She was born in your May 2 litter. It's Thanksgiving, and one of the things I am truly thankful for is our little pup. I love that dog more than I EVER imagined I could love a puppy. We have 3 labs here, but there is something about this little one that has stolen my heart. She has been to Chicago with us, and goes everywhere with us here at home. This 7 pound puppy has more love to give than any living thing on the planet. Just what I needed as I became an empty nester!!! Thank you again. She is absolutely wonderful, and is living a beautiful life with us. We are taking great care of her. Her name is Suki. As you can see in the pics, I am having a hard time keeping her face white because I kiss her all day! I think her face is the color of my lip gloss or makeup!!!! LOL. Sincerely, Suzie Beach |

1/31/2010 - Snickers/Gizmo ShihTzu
Hi Paula,
We brought Gizmo home from you on 9/13/09. You had named him Snickers. After a week or so we renamed him to Gizmo. He's an awesome little guy. I get compliments on his temperment every where we go. The groomers say that I lucked out with him. They are also in love with his color. He is so very well mannered, and such a sweet boy. I am planning on keeping him with a puppy cut... I dont want him to get shaved.. His hair is so beautiful he needs to show it off.. He almost has all his big boy teeth. The four K-9's are the only ones left and those adult have just broke through....Our Vet is keeping an eye on them in case the baby ones decide they dont want to come out. He was neutered 1 month ago and at that time weighed 9lbs 2oz. Lets just say he never misses a meal, but we wont let that become a problem. He loves to go on walks. We probably look like zoo keepers when we take our English Mastiff, Chocolate Lab and Gizmo on our walks, but the little guy LOVES to go. The big dogs play so nice with him. It's funny how the big dogs find ways to play with him. They will play tug of war, they"ll lay on their backs and let Gizmo bite at their faces, ears and necks. And the funniest of all is one of our cats, will wrestle with Gizmo. Our cats are declawed, but they will wrestle for a good 2 minutes....It's too cute to watch, they will literally roll in a ball on the floor. How did his little brother do? Well, just wanted to share some pics of my 'baby' with you, so you can see how beautiful he his, and know that he's just wonderful. We have had no issues with him, other than the occasional accident here and there, but that goes with the territory. He is crate trained, but its more like an apartment for Gizzy. It was our Mastiffs old crate, so you can only imagine how much room he has. He has a sleeping area, a playing area, and an area where his food and water go. Thank you very much for such a wonderful baby.
Sandy Dow
P.S. I almost forgot that he has the longest most beautiful eye lashes I have ever seen. They are amazing.

6/5/2009 - Gizmo ShihTzu
Hi Paula, Just wanted to forward the latest of Gizmo yesterday...6 months old, it sure doesn't seem like it has been that long already...He is such a sweetie...When he is old enough we want to see about breeding him and maybe getting a pup if that could be an option? We would love to eventually get another one...they are such great dogs... Thanks, Lana |
3/12/2009 - Chloe ShihTzu
Hi Paula,
Here is a more recent photo of Chloe. She will be 1 year old in a couple of weeks. She is the most lovable little dog that anyone could imagine. Carol just gave her a bath and put her on the sofa with her buddies for a picture. Thought you would enjoy seeing her at 1 year. Thanks, Doug and Carol McGrew |
Brutus - January 2009 AKC ShihTzu
Dear Paula:
I just want to let you know how much I'm enjoying our Brutus. He has become very handsome boy. I remember the cold Jan. 09 morning we met you to pick him up. He just fit in the palm of my hands. He has become the joy of my life. It was a delight to watch him go from that little brown handful to the beautiful dog he has become. He has a coat of many colors, Black, red, gray, blonde, and sable. He is a very good boy, but he doesn't mind. He never gets into any thing. Never have to punish him for anything. Never has destroyed a thing, even all of his many, many toys are in the same condition as we bought them. He does not have a aggressive streak in him. He is very loving and kisses everyone, even all the dogs where we walk. It's that he just pays attention to commands when he is ready. I am so glad you convinced us to get a male. We had always had female dogs, except the Great Dane Brutus we had in IA for my son. Brutus loves to travel, he just lays on his pillow in the back seat and off we go. He whines when he has to potty and we find a place to stop, he does his duty and off we go. He is my constant companion, love's to go to Home Depot and other places we go. We purchased Brutus Jan. 09 and my husband passed away Jan. 10. He has been a God send to me, I thank God we found you and Brutus. I have attached a picture of him from our trip to Pinetop last Summer. Gratefully, Jo Ann Hollobaugh Sun Lakes, AZ |
1/24/2008 - Kocoa and Krispie Maltese/ShihTzu Mix
Update 11/05/15
Paula, Cocoa and Krispie have been great! It is hard to believe that they are 7 years old. They have been the most loving and affectionate "puppies" and have been so healthy. Needless to say, they are entrenched as members of our family...the kids still remark about the "best Christmas presents ever!" When we received your email with the adorable pictures of the puppies that you have available it brought back so many great memories...we will let everyone know about Perfect Little Pups...Cocoa and Krispie have brought so much love to our family. Bob, Barb, Kennedy, Kassidy, Cocoa and Krispie Gamez Hi Paula, Can not even begin to explain how much joy Kocoa and Krispie have brought to our family...especially to our two little girls! They have been so affectionate and loving to everyone. Your professionalism and concern have been more than what we had expected. How are we ever going to surpass this past Christmas??? Thanx for everything! Bob, Barb, Kennedy, Kassidy, Kocoa, and Krispie Gamez |
